Weekend Roundup April 30-May 1

I've got the May calendar coming up soon but in the meantime here are a few things going on this weekend for families in the river region. Lots of free music in May around the area!

Free Airplane Rides for ages 8-17 

Montgomery tour starts at Montgomery Visitor Center, Prattville tour starts at Prattaugan Museum. For other participating cities, click here
1:30 and 2:30 pm Civil Rights Walking Tour 
Cost: Adults: $10; Children 12 & under: $5; Children 4 and under FREE.

The tour will once again feature Wetumpka residents portraying many of Elmore County’s settlers, builders and most noted citizens such as John Kelly Fitzpatrick, Senator William Thomas, Sgt. George F. Sedberry and many others. Tickets are just $5.00 and will be available beginning Monday, February 22nd at the Elmore County Museum, Wetumpka Public Library and from just about any member of the Elmore County Historical Society! Grab your lawn chairs & coolers and invite your friends - Join us every Sunday in May from 2-4pm for Live Music at The Waters' Town Square.
