Montgomery Zoo Christmas Lights Festival

Here at River Region Family, we love the Montgomery Zoo! We've talked before about how much we adore our zoo membership and why it's really a great value. The Christmas Lights Festival is one of those reasons. Zoo members get free admission to the Christmas Lights Festival! It's a family tradition for us.

It's a beautiful time to see the zoo transformed into a Winter Wonderland with thousands of sparkling lights and festive decorations.

Take a leisurely stroll, a brisk train ride or see the lights from atop the Zoofari Skylift Ride (of course, you would never catch me up there but some people like it.)

Visit Santa. Enjoy live entertainment, kid's activities and hot chocolate and other concessions available at the Overlook Cafe.

The Montgomery Zoo Christmas Lights Festival is  December 3-6, 10-13 and 17-31, 2015 from 5:30pm - 9:30pm nightly.
