Independence Day Events in The River Region 2015

Montgomery Fourth of July Picnic On The River
5 p.m. Free Admission. Live Music from the Sweet Young 'Uns. Rib Eating Competition with Cash Prize* Register at Dreamland BBQ in Downtown Montgomery by Noon on July 3rd to participate in the competition. Food Vendors. Activities for the Children. Following the concert there will be a Fireworks Show!

7pm Front lawn- 8660 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery
The entire community in invited to a free party including watermelon, snow cones, inflatables for the kids, ultimate Frisbee, tailgating,  music and one of the best fireworks displays in town that is put on by Wynlakes Country Club. Bring fold out chairs, homemade ice cream if you want and your friends.

Pike Road Summerfest
Gates open at 4:30 pm. $10 per vehicle. Live music. Fireworks. Food & drinks for sale by Pike Road Lions Club. Blankets and lawn chairs welcome. 
Wetumpka's Fourth of July Celebration
5pm Celebrity chef cook-off, 7pm  Music by Wishbone, Fireworks at 9 pm. 

Prattville Independence Day 
9 am Parade
10 am Carboard boat races, Lion's Club BBQ at Pratt Park
6 pm-The annual fireworks presentation will be held at Stanley-Jensen Stadium. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with live entertainment and a patriotic program. Fireworks begin at dark. The admission to this spectacular event is FREE and the public is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Indpendence Day at American Village
$5 per person. Veterans, active duty military, children ages 4 and under free. Gates open at 11 am. Historic programs, music, children's hands-on activities during the day and Patriotic music and fireworks in the evening.

Lake Martin Amphitheatre Fourth Of July Blast
The gates to The AMP will open at 4:30 PM, with a concert featuring Nationwide Coverage and guest The Bank Walkers beginning at 5:30 PM. Fireworks begin at 9 pm. Tickets $15, 6 and under free.
