Weekend Roundup and Upcoming: Things To Do In The River Region April 25-26

Saturday 4/25/15
7-9 am Wetumpka Earth Day  Wetumpka Recycle Center FREE 

Free compost, plant care advice, free t-shirts (first 50), door prizes, electronic recycling, bring your recyclable materials to drop off. 

10 am April Alabama Walking Tours FREE
Community leaders will guide these free tours through the historic districts or courthouse square areas of their hometowns. The hour-long tours start at 10 a.m. on April 4, 11, 18 and 25. Participating towns in the area include: Montgomery, Prattville, and Selma. 

5 pm-10 pm Global Astronomy Month and National Astronomy Day FREE
 W.A. Gayle Planetarium in Oak Park
Telescope Clinic, Kids activities,Guest Speakers, Tour of the Nightsky.
Join the Auburn Astronomical Society for an awesome evening of star and planet gazing after sundown in Oak Park. 


Register for the upcoming Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic that will be on May 9th.  

Sunday 4/26/15
1-4 pm Bark In The Park 

 2-4 pm Family Art Affair and Jazz Jams at MMFA FREE
 




Tuesday 4/28/15
6-8 pm Chick Fil A Eastchase Kids Night
The Home Depot Workshop. Build a craft with The Home Depot Crew.
