Free Admission to Alabama Homeschool Expo (Exp 3/31)

Just a heads up! Alabama Homeschool Expo is offering a code for free admission when you register from now until 3/31/15.

You just  pay $2 shipping/handling/badge fee for each name badge. (Excludes Kidszone, Teen Leadership Conference and Homeschooling for Excellence 101.)

Enter code free2015 when you register to get the free admission.

The expo is June 13-15, 2015 at  the Montgomery Convention Center.

I recommend this expo to any parent whether or not they home school. There are so many good speakers and workshops. Plus, there is a huge exhibit hall with all types of curriculum and services. Not only curriculum but books and other items for you and your children.

River Region Family tip: I have found lots of goodies in the exhibit hall for free- like pens, pencils, and coupons for nearby destinations like Huntsville Space and Rocket Center and McWane Center.

You can check out the current exhibitor list here.

My favorite part of the expo is really the workshops, though. So much good information all in one place! It can sometimes be hard to choose which workshops to go to. This year there are workshops on essential oils, how to teach your kids to be entrepreneurs, overcoming lying in your children, and many others that would benefit any parents not just homeschoolers.

Kids are welcome at the expo (and attend for free with a parent) and your child might enjoy the Lego Build Zone in the exhibit hall while you browse the exhibitor booths.
