Calendar: September 2014

It's September already!!!!! What? I will be updating with more fun events soon. I just wanted to go ahead and get this up because I would hate you to miss Broadway Under The Stars.

9am-Noon Home Depot Kids Workshop Wizard of Oz Birdhouse 

7:30 pm Broadway Under The Stars
This free outdoor concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will feature Broadway favorites. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for picnicking. Special VIP picnics and tables are available by calling the Symphony office!

9 am-2pm Ag Discovery Adventure at E.V. Smith Research Center (Exit 26 on I-85 in Shorter, AL )
Tractor tours, Drones, Corn Maze, Baby Chicks and other livestock, Pumpkin Painting and more!

10 am Lowe's Build and Grow Kids Workshop-Binoculars

Join City of Prattville and US Army for the World Wide Day of Play. There will be obstacle courses specially designed for ages K-2nd grade, 3rd-6th grade, and 7th-8th grade with medals given out for different categories. The US Army will provide camouflage face painting for the event.

Friday 9/26/14
6-10 pm Ballet and The Beasts Montgomery Zoo
Enjoy the Montgomery Ballet in a FREE performance under the stars at the Montgomery Zoo.  Admission is FREE, picnic blankets and chairs are welcome.  Join us Sept 36, gates open at 6pm, the performance will begin at dusk. 

Saturday 9/27/14
10 am Lowe's Build and Grow Fire Truck with Ladder build FREE
Register online in advance.

Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day
 n the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket… for free.
