Weekend Events Plus How To Get FREE Admission to Old Alabama Town Saturday Only!

There are several fun (FREE) things happening around town this weekend. Tonight is Ballet and The Beasts at Montgomery Zoo-a free performance by the Montgomery Ballet under the stars at the Montgomery Zoo. See below for more info.

Tomorrow is Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day. It is not too late to register and print a free ticket for a participating museum.  There are many participating venues in Alabama including several in Montgomery like Old Alabama Town and The Civil Rights Memorial Center. This is a great opportunity to visit a museum for free. The Museum Day Live tickets provide free admission for you and a guest. You fill out the form on the site and they email you info on downloading and printing the ticket. (Some venues allow you to show the ticket on a smart phone.) You must have a Museum Day Live ticket to get free admission.

Redbox: Free Rental Today (9/22/14)!

Today Redbox released a code on their Instagram for a free DVD rental good today only!

You might call me crazy but I love rainy weather and this free code makes for a perfect rainy movie day.

You can get one free rental on each card. We used all of our debit cards and each got a movie to watch. Just make sure to return it before the deadline tomorrow so you won't be charged.

This afternoon we are going to pop some popcorn and enjoy a couple of movies.  I got Mom's Night Out for myself for after the kids go to bed.
