Weekend Roundup 5/23-5/26/14 Memorial Day

 
 
Some consider Memorial Day to be the official start of summer and it sure does feel like it around here! It's hot, hot, hot! Have a great weekend and drink lots of water if you're outside!

Friday 5/23/14
Beginning 5/23/14 and running through 7/6/14 The Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street exhibit The Way We Worked will be at the Elmore County Museum Mondays-Saturday 10 am-2pm

7 pm Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Jubilee Pops Concert FREE
A Montgomery tradition! Join us May 23, 2014 on the Alabama Archives and History Building Lawn when the Montgomery Symphony will kick off the Memorial Day weekend with a free outdoor concert. Come early and bring your friends and family. Picnic baskets, coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets are all welcome at this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held on Saturday night, May 24th, at 7:00 pm in the same location.

Saturday 5/24/14

Sunday 5/25/14
Bring your chairs or blankets (or both), coolers, snacks. Plan to sit under the beautiful oak trees in the park setting and enjoy the music.

Monday 5/26/14 Memorial Day

10 am -5 pm Pratt Pool Retro Pool Party
For this fun, family event, admission to the pool is $1 and includes a hot dog and drink. Pratt Pool's normal hours this season will be Friday Noon-5pm and Saturdays 10 am-5 pm.
