7 p.m. Prattville CityFest Opening Ceremonies and Street Dance with Tip Tops FREE admission

Saturday 5/3/14
7 am- 1pm Frazer Flea Market

9 am-Noon Home Depot Kids Workshops Build A Flower Planter FREE
Register online in advance.

9 a.m. -5 p.m. Prattville City Fest
Admission $2 per person, Military ID $1, Children 5 and under FREE
Entertainment; Kids Area featuring Bungee jumping, pony rides, petting zoo, inflatables, and games; Food and product vendors

10 am-2 pm Flimp Festival MMFA
$5 adults, $3 children, Free to museum members and active duty military and their families.

12-2 pm LEGO Star Wars Build Event at Toys R US FREE

Sunday 5/4/14
1pm First Sundays
Free docent-led tours of Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts





Bring your chairs or blankets (or both), coolers, snacks. Plan to sit under the beautiful oak trees in the park setting and enjoy the music.


Saturday 5/10/14
8 am-3 pm Herb Day Old Alabama Town FREE
Open-air market with plants and gardening items, children's activities, special programs and speakers

9 am-2 pm Cops and Kids Day Millbrook Village Green FREE

10 am Lowe's Build and Grow Worshop Flower Delivery Truck FREE

5pm Second Saturday Event Riverfront Park
$1 admission, 12 and under free

6 pm River Jam Music Festival Montgomery at the trainshed FREE


 
Saturday 5/17/14
Alabama Antique Tractor Show & Pull and BBQ Cookoff
Food-Vendors-Petting zoo-Tractor Show-Kiddie section and more! Gates open at 7 am.

8 am-5 pm GO! Reptile Rendevous at Alabama Nature Center
General admission $4 per person/day for adults, $2 ages 4-12 and 3 and under free.

10 am-2 pm National Kids To Parks Day-Touch A Truck Event Prattville FREE
Touch A Truck will be located in Pratt Park by Stanley Jensen Stadium. Fire trucks, dump trucks, storm trackers, racecars and many other kinds of vehicles will be available for kids to climb on and in and explore. Something for everyone to enjoy!

6 pm River Jam Music Festival at riverfront amphitheater FREE

Friday 5/23/14
Beginning 5/23/14 and running through 7/6/14 The Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street exhibit The Way We Worked will be at the Elmore County Museum Mondays-Saturday 10 am-2pm

7 pm Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Jubilee Pops Concert FREE
A Montgomery tradition! Join us May 23, 2014 on the Alabama Archives and History Building Lawn when the Montgomery Symphony will kick off the Memorial Day weekend with a free outdoor concert. Come early and bring your friends and family. Picnic baskets, coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets are all welcome at this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held on Saturday night, May 24th, at 7:00 pm in the same location.

Saturday 5/31/14

5-7 pm Eastdale Mall Family Fun Night Kickoff FREE
Fun Night is back at Eastdale Mall! To kick-off the summer, we're having a live remote with Rex from y102, DJ spinning your favorite family-friendly tunes, magician, Ice Skating contests, face painting with the Eastdale Mall Teen Team and more! The best part? It's all free! Make sure to check in at the Customer Service Centre to recieve your wrist band to participate in all of the activities. *Ages 14 and under skate for free from 6 - 7 p.m.
