Weekend Activities 5/19-5/20

Saturday 5/19/12

6am-Noon Gigantic Flea Market Doster Center Prattville

10 am-2pm Touch A Truck & More at Pratt Park in Prattville FREE
Children will be able to touch and explore a variety of vehicles including a fire truck, an ambulance, a police SWAT truck, a garbage truck, an excavator, a TV truck and more! Bring your camera!


10:30 am Mayor's Bike Ride for National Kids To Parks Day in Prattville
Starting at Upper Kingston Park and ending at Pratt Park. Must wear a helmet!

1-5 pm Jubilee City Fest Kid's Fest (Renaissance Convention Center) $5 admission
Inflatables, real race cars, Montgomery Zoo animals, Taylor Made Gaming, children's characters, arts and crafts and much more!

4-7 pm Healthy Body Healthy Life Community Wellness Day & Expo FREE


5pm-10:45 Bama's Big Bang Riverfront Amphitheatre Montgomery FREE
Free concert: Brick, Sister Hazel, Spyro Gyra, and Joseph Baldwin followed by Bama's Big Bang Fireworks Spectacular!

7 pm Movie Under The Stars Prattville
Begins at dusk on the Creekwalk behind the police department.  Bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnice baskets and enjoy a FREE presentation of How To Eat Fried Worms on the big inflatable screen.

Sunday 5/20/12

1-2 pm Sundays at 1 (Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts)
Free Docent-led tours of the museum every Sunday at 1pm

3 pm Prattville Pops Spring Concert Doster Center FREE

4 pm Cloverdale Idlewild Association Spring Concert Series FREE
Every Sunday afternoon beginning April 1st at Cloverdale “Bottom” Park's gazebo, at Cloverdale Rd and Ponce de Leon (From the “5-Points” intersection near the Capri, go south one block.) Bring your chairs or blankets (or both), coolers and snacks. Plan to sit under the beautiful oak trees in the park and enjoy the free music.
