International Fun Day 7/22/11 Morgan Memorial Library

From 10 am to 2 pm, Friday 7/22/11 the Montgomery City County Public Libraries will join together for International Fun Day downtown at the Morgan Memorial Library to celebrate the end of the summer reading program.

Even if you didn't participate in the summer reading program, you are welcome to come join the FREE fun! There will be games, food, entertainment and more fun! Each library will be representing different countries with actvities relating to that country.

I was told that depending on the weather, there may be inflatables outside for the kids to play in. They are planning on having some activities and demonstrations outside and some inside- in the auditorium.

Tip from me: Be aware that there is limited parking in the library lot. There is a parking lot across the street that looked to have lots of open spaces the other day, when we were down there, so that may be an option if the library's lot is full.

While you are there you might want to check out the Friends of The Library Bookstore. They had a lot of adult fiction on sale 3 for a quarter, in addition to the sale books that are always 3 for a quarter including the kid's discount books.
